Taiwo Oyedele was born in Ondo State and he completed his early education where he grew up with his parents. He proceeded to Federal Polytechnic, Ado Ekiti, where he obtained his National Diploma in Accountancy, and then went to Yaba College of Technology, Lagos, for his Higher National Diploma (HND).

Taiwo Oyedele went to the London School of Economics & Political Science, Yale University, and Harvard Kennedy School Executive Education to further his career.

Taiwo Oyedele was the Chairman of the West Africa Debt Management Roundtable of the Nigerian Economic Summit Group and he has served as the Thematic Head for the Fiscal Policy and Planning Commission and he. He also serves as the West Africa Tax Head at PwC Nigeria and is also a key member of the PwC Global Board for Leadership Development.

Taiwo Oyedele serves as the Chairman of the PWC Nigeria Ethics Committee and he is also a contributor to the annual Doing Business report of the World Bank. he is the founder of Impact Africa Foundation which focuses on mentoring and sponsoring the education of Nigerians.
