Daniel Taiwo Odukoya popularly known as Pastor Taiwo Odukoya was born on the 15th of June 1956 in Kaduna state, Nigeria. He began his early education at Baptist Primary School and completed it at St. Paul College, presently known as Kufena College, Zaria.

Pastor Taiwo Odukoya went to the University of Ibadan where he earned his degree in petroleum engineering.

Taiwo Odukoya began his career as a petroleum engineer at the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) where he worked until his voluntary retirement in January 1994 after his call to the ministry.

Taiwo and his first wife Bimbo Odukoya co-founded The Fountain of Life Church in 1992 with a clear vision to teach both men and women the concert of building successful relationships. In 1997, he set up a program designed for men and women to help them maximize their potential. Since then, the church has had several outreaches with hundreds of thousands of men and women and also has a vocational center for people with technical and practical life skills.

During his ministry years, pastor Taiwo Odukoya was a spiritual father, preacher, and life coach who positively impacted the lives of thousands of people. He also contributed greatly to society, orphanages home, hospitals, and many more.

Pastor Taiwo Odukoya was first married to Bimbo William and they had three kids but unfortunately, he lost his wife to a plane crash accident on December 10th, 2010. Five years later, he got married to Rosemary Simangele Zulu from South Africa and they had two kids but he also lost his second wife to cancer on November 9, 2021.
