He then proceeded to the University of Lagos, where he obtained his degree.

Smada began his musical career while he was in school in 2021. He released his second extended play NUNIVERSE which reached number 1 on iTunes Nigeria. thereafter, he gained popularity after uploading videos with snippets of his unreleased songs including “Ye Anthem” which went viral on social media.
