Lola Ade John hails from Lagos state and she completed her early education where she grew up with her parents. She went to the University of Ibadan where she earned her degree in Computer Science.
Lola Ade John Career
Lola Ade John began her career as a System Analyst at Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria Ltd. In 1991, she joined Magnum Trust Bank, now part of Sterling Bank Nigeria as the Group Head of Corporate Services and Technology. During her time there, she contributed greatly to the growth of the bank especially in the IT areas. She implemented a new decentralized Client-Server processing technology and also designed and implemented new technology platform for Magnum Bank subsequent to its takeover by Guaranty Trust Bank.
After serving at Magnum Trust Bank for 7 years, she joined Access Bank as the Group Head of Support Services and Technology. She later joined United Bank for Africa as the Head of Applications where she made a huge contribution to the IT department.
Lola Ade John worked as a Technology integration Manager at Ecobank Nigeria for seven years before she joined Novateur Business Technology Consultants as a Principal Consultant.
