Baba Olowere Early Age and Education

Michael Ojo Olowere commonly known as Baba Olowere born on the 9th of September in Ilesha, Osun State but he hails from Ifaki, Ekiti State. He didn’t attend any formal education during his early age because he lost his dad when he was seven years old.

Although he didn’t attend have any formal education, he could read and write in Yoruba, so he learned the alphabet and pronunciation informally. He also learned several hand skills like bricklaying, blacksmithing, plumbing, and farming. He later attended a theological school for two years.

Baba Olowere Career

Baba Olowere was skilled in different professions which allowed him to work in several parts of Oyo State. Sometimes, he repaired scales for cocoa and generally worked with anything related to iron, metal, bolt, and nuts. His bosses always praise him for his dedication to work and his apprentice could attest that he was a good teacher.

Baba Olowere worked on the iron rod erected at the Oyo Water Corporation and also had versatile knowledge in construction. During his bricklaying training, he received the call into God’s ministry and he could not evade it anymore.

Baba Olowere started his ministry and went to Kano and then Zaria but he couldn’t be there because the work of the gospel was not what he imagined. He continued his ministry in other CAC churches for three and a half years before he was relocated to a church around the University of Ibadan.

In 1975, Baba Olowere was ordained a cleric after he had been in the ministry for years and completed his theological school. He founded the CAC, Oke Imole, Agbowo in 1978 and since then, the church has given birth to several branches. During his ministries, he experienced several persecution and temptation but he was dedicated and true till the end.

Baba Olowere has worked with several men of God to preach the word of God and perform signs and wonders. He was one of the few most respected prophets who contributed greatly to the gospel of God and positively impacted the lives of people.
